Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Pass in Plus Two or equivalent.

Physical Standards

• Height: Minimum 165 cm (160 cm for SC/ST).
• Chest: Minimum 81 cm (76 cm for SC/ST) with a 5 cm expansion.

Vision Standards

• Distant vision: 6/6 in both eyes without spectacles.
• Near vision: 0.5/0.5 Snellen.
• Free from color blindness, squint, and other eye defects.

Physical Fitness

• Certified physically fit by a medical officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon/Junior Consultant.
• Free from physical defects like knock knees, flat feet, varicose veins, and others.

Selection Process

1. Endurance Test: Candidates must complete a 2.5 km race within 13 minutes.
2. Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates need to qualify in at least five out of eight events, such as:
   • 100m race: 14 seconds
   • High jump: 132.20 cm
   • Long jump: 457.20 cm
   • Rope climbing: 365.80 cm
   • 1500m run: 5 minutes 44 seconds

2. Log in using your User ID and Password.
3. Complete the application under the relevant notification link. No application fee is required.
4. Ensure your profile photo meets all specified criteria.

Important Notes

• Female and differently-abled candidates are not eligible for this post.
• Ex-servicemen and NCC certificate holders (categories A, B, and C) are given preference, with additional marks of 2%, 3%, and 5%, respectively.
• Candidates already serving as Civil Excise Officers in any district cannot apply.
